Coaching Research & Innovation H2020 Program Marie Skłodowska-Curie For ITN

This initiative, aiming to support the career development and training of researchers in all scientific disciplines, is part of the Horizon 2020 Programme - Research and Innovation of the European Commission, in which Tunisia participates as an associated country. This new status of Tunisia allows Tunisians to have full access to the opportunities offered by the H2020 programme like all the other member countries of the European Union.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) - The Management Unit of European Programme Horizon 2020 in collaboration with General Directorate of Scientific Research (DGRS), has organised a coaching/training for doctoral school directors, research centre directors and heads of laboratories on the opportunities offered by the Horizon 2020 programme «Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA)» especially for the open call ITN “Innovative Training Network”.

The coaching aims to inform the Tunisian scientific community about the MSCA bottom-up approach that grants to researchers at all stages of their career, from PhD candidates to highly experienced researchers, and encourages worldwide, cross-sector and interdisciplinary mobility. Presentations will concern the ITN open call.

The Innovative Training Network (ITN) aims to train a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers. ITNs raise the quality of research and doctoral training, extending the traditional academic research training setting and equipping researchers with the right combination of research-related and transferable competences.
Researchers will thus have enhanced career perspectives in both the academic and non-academic sectors.
