Shrinking Rural Regions and Spatial Justice

This half-day session, shared with the ESPON ESCAPE project and organised in workshop format, focuses on shrinking rural areas, and how to meet their needs in 21st century ways. The RELOCAL project will explore, within the context of 33 European case studies, the various factors that either promote or inhibit spatial justice (defined as a fair distribution of opportunities and resources, and as “having a voice” in the context of governance).

The workshop is held as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, an annual 4-day event. CORDIS will also be present at this event, come and find us!
