Funding the circular economy

Marking the project’s second workshop, this 2-day event will bring together circular economy actors from national, regional and city governments, businesses and academia as well as policymakers to work on ways to improve circular economy financing in Europe.
On the first day there will be an organised tour of circular economy projects in Berlin, providing attendees an excellent opportunity to learn about and experience concrete initiatives taking place in the city. The second day will be dedicated to a hands-on workshop aiming to: validate circular economy key objectives and innovation fields at European level; challenge and validate the policy toolkit for circular economy financing; and develop and test a joint programming platform for funders of circular economy programmes.
