Quality Management with a PM² twist is a MasterClass organized in the frame of the PM² Alliance 2020 International Conference “Moving Forward: The PM² Advantage”.
Everybody loves quality: both at the organizational as well as at the personal level, we want to use quality suppliers and contractors, deliver quality products, have quality relationships or even spend quality time with our loved ones.
But what exactly is quality? What does it include, and how can it be defined? A common tenet in quality is that “quality is in the eye of the beholder”, but what do we mean by that? Is quality subjective or objective?
Moreover, apart from those general questions about quality, how can we manage quality in our projects? While the meaning of the project schedule is quite clear, is it so with the meaning of project quality? Is it project or rather product quality? And who is responsible for the quality of the project and its artifacts?
Even more specifically, how does the PM² Project Management Methodology approach the management of quality? What are its specific plans, reports and responsibilities? How does PM² deal with the even more unclear concept of configuration management?
Questions such as the above will be discussed and clarified in the one day “Quality Management with a PM² twist” program.
