Collective Action as driver of Social Innovation for the Energy Transition The EU-funded COMETS project will be hosting a workshop in Trento, Italy, on 10-12 February 2021. 10 February 2021 - 12 February 2021 Trento, Italy This workshop is being held as part of the Fifth Energy and Society Conference organised by the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento, Italy. It will support discussion between scientists, policymakers and practitioners regarding the role and potential for contribution of Collective Action Initiatives (CAIs) – communities, cooperatives, purchasing groups – in the energy transition. The workshop also provides an opportunity to gather inputs for integrating and validating the results of the COMETS project, which is working to fill knowledge gaps and learn more about the evolution and scaling up of CAIs in selected EU countries.
