The onset of globalisation and how it affects both the European Union and the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that operate within it are top of the agenda at the forthcoming Euromarketforum 2000 in Brussels on 28 to 30 of May.

The policies adopted both by the EU and other multilateral organisations as they react to and try to guide the process of globalisation will come under scrutiny, as the conference looks at ways in which SMEs can prosper in a globalised economy.

Speakers will include representatives from academia, the private sector and public institutions. Workshops on the final day will also highlight how to tackle specific situations, such as how SMEs can take on certain skills which will help them better adapt to a globalised market place.
