FOODSEG has been originally funded by the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union and brought together 35 partners. It was coordinated by Mr. Andreas Moser (rtd services) and was finalised at the 30th of April 2014.

This FOODSEG Network is the follow-up action of the EU-funded project and focuses on bringing experts who are working along the full supply chain (agriculture - feed - food - consumers) together. FOODSEG has the aim of offering a platform where scientists, policy-makers, decision-makers and industry can personally meet to discuss their cooperation and know-how.

The main activities within the FOODSEG Network are the organisation of one annual FOODSEG symposium, up to two H2020 proposals and an online database for partner search and promotion of know-how.

The programme for the 6th symposium is based on a two-day event with talks by well-experienced scientists and decision-makers in the area of agriculture, feed, food, consumers - all along the feed and food chain. It further is a place to present selected EU Funded research projects in the area to discuss their research results and findings. Posters on EU funded research projects are welcome to be presented during the event.

In addition, we will offer the possibility for face-to-face meetings to initiate and deepen cooperation and knowledge transfer within an international brokerage event.
