An EU-funded coordination and support action led by the Canada Foundation for Innovation, the International Conference on Research Infrastructures (ICRI) will be held as a fully online, virtual experience addressing the role of research infrastructures in enhancing the ability to respond to global challenges. ICRI 2021 will host policy experts, facility managers, leading researchers and various other stakeholders for discussions on challenges and emerging trends related to research infrastructures around the world.
The 3-day programme is designed to cover four parallel themes: International research infrastructures: the way forward; Practical steps toward effective global research infrastructure governance; Assessing and communicating societal impact of research infrastructures; and Enabling collaboration between curiosity-driven and mission-driven research. The conference’s overarching theme is “The role of research infrastructures in building bridges to a sustainable world.”
