PROSPECT project at Road Safety and Simulation International Conference (RSS2017)

The RSS2017 conference will be hosted by Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and it will be organised in collaboration with the Dutch Institute for Road Safety Research (SWOV). It will take place from 17th to 19th of October 2017. The main focus of the conference is on advancing the safety of all road users with special attention for vulnerable road users; especially with the use of new technologies.

PROSPECT is a collaborative research project funded by the EC under Grant Agreement nº 634149 and it tackles automation new safety challenges. During the conference the project members will present its latest publications entitled: Exploring the relationship between false alarms and driver acceptance of a pedestrian alert system during simulated driving (the authors Large, D. R., Harvey, C., Burnett, G., Merenda, C., Leong, S., Gabbard, J.).

About The Road Safety and Simulation conference: The RSS (http://rss2017.org/) was established in Rome in 2007, and since then it is a great platform for researchers and professionals from various disciplines to share their expertise and proceedings in the field of road safety and simulation.
