Information workshop in neuroinformatics

The European Commission is hosting a workshop on neuroinformatics in Brussels on 9 June 2000, which aims to clarify the content of the joint initiative in neuroinformatics launched by the Commission's Quality of Life - Neurosciences and Information Society Technologies - FET (proactive initiative).
The workshop will feature an in-depth presentation on neuroinformatics by European Commission staff. It also aims to stimulate thinking and discussion, with invited speakers presenting topics of their choice relating to calls for proposals.
Anybody who registers for the event will have the opportunity to speak for two minutes to describe their interests and the kind of partnerships they seek.
To register for this event, please contact Beatrice.Chiantalassa@ec.europa.eu stating if you wish to use the two minute 'Stand up and speak' option (giving a short title for the presentation, which will be included in the agenda distributed at the meeting). Registration is free of charge.
