NanoTech 2000- technologies for the future
Participants will have the opportunity to hear leading international experts describe the latest progress in research, development and applications of micro and nanotechnology.
Working groups will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and help initiate further ideas for possible applications of nanotechnology. The centre will also use the conference as a platform for the public launch of several new applications, including a hand-held virus detector and several micro-electrical-mechanical (MEMS) based monitoring devices.
The event is open to participants interested in micro and nanotechnology and papers for presentation are welcome.
