E-business and globalisation conference

The growth of e-commerce, the effects of globalisation and issues for information suppliers top the list of subjects to be discussed at the forthcoming 'e-business in the information industry' conference in Lisbon from 1 to 4 October.
Organised by EUSIDIC, (the European association of information managers), the conference will address the changes that have been brought about by electronic commerce and business-to-business communication projects. Some major companies such as Bertelsmann, will be providing an insight into how these developments have affected them.
There will also be feedback from end-users regarding what they would like to see. Speakers will be drawn from Europe and the USA and discussion sessions are also planned.
