To help prepare research managers to apply for funding under the European Commission's Fifth Framework programme, EARMA, the European Association of research managers and administrators, has launched a new one day training course on how to write a technology implementation plan.

The first course in Brussels on November 10 will provide background to the TIP, how to source the information needed for the TIP and how to prepare the necessary documentation.

The number of places will be limited and so those interested are invited to book early by sending a message to the e-mail address below.

As part of training programme for Autumn and Winter 2000, EARMA is also launching a course on international project management, with one of the most respected experts in this field, Professor Bernd Madauss, as course tutor. The two day course will provide theoretical background, together with specific skills, tools and knowledge on how to cope with changes or problems that may occur after a project has begun.For further information, please contact:
