The sixth European meeting of advanced very high resolution radiometer (AVHRR) data users will take place in Belgirate, Italy on 28 June to 2 July 1993.
Organized in collaboration with the Joint Research Centre of the Commission of the European Communities by the European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), the subject areas covered in the draft programme for the event include:
- Extraction & evaluation of geophysical parameters;
- Applications;
- Data systems;
- Satellite programme developments.
The five-day AVHRR meeting will involve a total of some 55 oral presentations, 30 poster displays, 7 software demonstrations plus 5 commercial exhibitions.
