TEN Telecom information day

An information day organised by UK IS HELP aimed at helping companies with TEN project proposals will take place on 20 November in London. The head of the Commission's programme management team, Olivier Pascal, will talk about the aims of the programme, and how to apply.

An information day organised by UK IS HELP aimed at helping companies with TEN project proposals will take place on 20 November in London. The head of the Commission's programme management team, Olivier Pascal, will talk about the aims of the programme, and how to apply.

TEN-Telecom is part of the EU's Trans-European Networks action. It is designed to promote the development of the Information Society in Europe, and helps to bring applications and internet-based services to the market, whilst encouraging the interconnection of networks. The next call for project proposals has a budget of over 33 million euro. It was opened in mid October, and will close on 29 January 2001.

The day will include a talk by an evaluator from the last call about what makes a good project proposal. Representatives from an organisation will talk about why it used the TEN-Telecom programme, and there will be an opportunity for others to present their own project ideas.For more information, please consult the following website:
