Parliament event to look at research and the environment

A green research forum will look at the effect of the EU's Swedish Presidency, the proposed impact of the forthcoming Sixth Framework programme (FP6) and the views of European Parliamentarians in Brussels on 6 June.
Taking place at the European Parliament, the forum will have four panels looking at specific subject areas, namely energy, environment and health, biotechnologies, and information and communication technologies. Each panel will be chaired by an MEP, with input from academic, research and political invitees.
The forum will end with a round table discussion, involving not just MEPs but also the public. The event will be chaired by MEP Yves Pietrasanta and simultaneous translations will be available in French, English, Swedish, Spanish, German, Dutch and Finnish.For further information, please contact:
