The Scientific and Technical Options Assessment programme (STOA) of the European Parliament is organizing a workshop, on 10 and 11 September in Kerkyra (Greece) based on the STOA project dealing with pollution of the Mediterranean sea. The workshop is being organized in cooperation with the Ionian University and with the support of the Commission of the European Communities' Directorate-General for Science, Research and Development. The project aims to assess the scientific and technological options for monitoring pollution, its prevention and cure.
