European Community holds second aeronautics RTD conference

The second aeronautics RTD conference, AERODAYS 93, organized by the European Community, is to be held in Naples on 4-5 October 1993. AERODAYS 93 is an opportunity to explore the strategic issues relating to research and technological development in the European Community and, in parallel technical sessions, to consider the progress or results of 60 projects supported at European level. There will also be a workshop on training issues associated with research management in European collaborative projects. An exhibition will help delegates obtain an overview of the situation and facilitate contact making for future cooperation activities.
An AERODAYS forum, on the first day of the conference, will be focused on the question of making better use of available resources in light of declining defence budgets, escalating costs of technology and an increasingly competitive world market.
