UK information day on IST programme
27 November 2001 - 27 November 2001
UKISHELP is urging UK organisations to find out more about the 300 million euro available for funding IT projects at its final information day in London on 27 November.
The event will feature presentations from European Commission representatives on the specific interest areas of the eighth and final call for proposals under the Commission's Information society technologies (IST) programme. The call is expected in November and is valued at more than 300 million euro.
'More and more organisations are considering IST funding opportunities and we hope that this free event will inspire more to discover the business benefits of involvement in the IST programme,' said Peter Walters, the UK's National contact point at UKISHELP. 'Delegates can look forward to a packed afternoon of information, experience, advice and detailed briefing. We're especially looking forward to hearing the European Commission's David Broster, who'll offer a sneak preview of the Sixth Framework which follows next year,' he said. For further information, please consult the following web address: http://www.ukishelp.co.uk(opens in new window)
