Cleaner products and processes for SMEs

A CRAFT workshop on "Cleaner products and processes for SMEs", will be held in Toulouse on 20 October 1993 during the International Market for Advanced Technologies, SITEF '93.

The workshop, which is organized by the Commission of the European Communities and the Chamber Of Commerce and Industry of Toulouse, will consist of five sessions covering:

- Clean Technologies;
- Green Products;
- Integrated Waste Management;
- Elimination and Waste Treatment;
- Control of Processes for Waste Minimization.

In preparation for the event, the organizers identified relevant research topics and project proposals (via a dedicated survey and interview campaign carried out in France, Italy, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands) in order to define the key subjects to be discussed in the five sessions.

Each of these key aspects will be presented in the morning by experts in the field, and the organizers involved will report on the results of the survey, focusing on concrete project proposals. In the afternoon, a forum for bilateral and multilateral discussion will be provided.

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to meet potential partners, establish local and international contacts and discuss specific projects. Further project ideas that are suggested can be discussed at this time and assistance will be available for companies with ideas for proposals in order to clarify eligibility, procedures and team building.
