EUROLATIS workshop to focus on open source software

EUROLATIS, the thematic network supported by the Information Society Technologies (IST) programme of the European Commission's Fifth Framework programme (FP5), will hold its next workshop, devoted to open source software, in Sao Paolo, Brazil on 13 to 15 March 2002.
The network is coordinated by Spain's Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and involves the 15 EU Member States as well as 19 Latin American countries. It aims to stimulate EU-Latin American collaboration in areas of IST important for the social and economic development of both regions, by promoting actions undertaken by universities and companies.For further information, please consult the following web address:
