European conference on financing innovation and creating new technology-based companies

The Instituto Andaluz de Tecnologia is hosting a conference on 28 and 29 November in Seville. The aim is to bring together the various European agents of the 'Innovation financing and technology-based companies creation system' for an exchange of information.

Objectives for the event include:

- to present successful examples of financing innovation models in different European regions;
- to explore existing mechanisms for the creation of technology-based companies;
- to hear the views of entrepreneurs and investors on the innovation financing process;
- to discuss best practices in relation to the development of financing innovation strategies.

The conference will also hear speeches on key themes, including models for the creation of university spin-offs, and experiences in regional public financing for innovation.
