Inauguration of Luxembourg VALUE Relay Centre

The Luxembourg VALUE Relay Centre (VRC) will be officially opened on 18 November 1993.
After the initial starting-up and operational period, the VRC, which is established within the Luxinnovation organization, is inviting enterprises, experts and consultants, and bodies involved in research-related activities, valorization and technology transfer, to the official inauguration in the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (17.15 hours).
The event will permit the Centre to explain and demonstrate the range of services offered by the Europe-wide network of VALUE Relay Centres, and at the same time to familiarize visitors with other services offered by Luxinnovation. The programme includes:
- Welcome and Introduction, by Mr. M. Walentiny, Vice-President of Luxinnovation;
- "Diffusion and Exploitation of Community Research Results: VALUE Relay Centre Projects", by Mr. V. Parajon Collada, Deputy Director-General of DG XIII of the Commission of the European Communities;
- "The Services offered by the Luxembourg VALUE Relay Centre", by Mr. S. Pommerell, Luxinnovation;
- "The Centre de Recherche Public Henri Tudor and the Luxembourg VALUE Relay Centre: A Partnership Creating Synergies in the service of RTD in Luxembourg", by Mr. C. Wehenkel, Administrator, Centre de Recherche Public Henri Tudor;
- "The Continuity of a European Research Project in the Field of Information Technologies: HUMANOID II", by Mr. J.P. Thorn, Project Coordinator, RTL-Productions.
The event will close with an opportunity for informal meetings and discussions.
