DeCoMe 11: Progress of the DELTA programme
DELTA is Area 4 (Flexible and Distance Learning) within the Community's specific programme of RTD in telematic systems in areas of general interest, 1991-1994. DeCoMe meetings take place approximately every two months and are attended by all DELTA project coordinators. Responsible persons from other Community programmes are invited to attend.
As well as the DELTA "Open line to projects", involving Project Officers, the agenda of the two-day November meeting comprises: A welcome and introduction establishing the theme for the DeCoMe, the annual project review (overall impressions and results), and the progress to date of evaluation within DELTA projects. There will also be an overview of the CTA progress, an overview of the new DELTA projects accepted in June 1993, a presentation from each of these projects, and a (closed) working group on small and medium-sized enterprises.
In addition to the above, DELTA Special Interest Group (SIG) sessions will focus on a number of topics including a CTA special session (full agenda to be defined), the implementation and management of teletraining, and pedagogic research within FDL projects. A closing plenary session with reports from the Telematics Conference and the Poitiers workshop on open and distance learning is also scheduled.
