European working group on e-business security

A one-day workshop on the theme of managing e-business security risk will take place in Paris on 3 December.
The event is sponsored by The Open Group, The European Software Institute, and the European Telecommunications Informatic Services, and is designed for anyone working n the areas of e-business or the information security.
The aim of the working group is to identify and agree a set of best practices for the ongoing management of corporate or departmental security policies. Activities will take the form of special interest group meetings, keynote speeches, and a plenary session.
Specific topics during the day's activities will include:
- Establishing trust in e-business transactions
- Active loss prevention and e-business
- Security policy management
- Trust services mapping
- Liability in mobile transactions
