The Cypriot Medressa project is to host a partnership event on e-business and e-commerce in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 28 March.

The Medressa project aims to provide access for European small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the information technology domain to emerging markets, particularly in southern Mediterranean countries. The aim of the event is to bring together providers from the EU with users and intermediaries from the southern Mediterranean region.

Medressa provides analyses of local markets and their opportunities for information and communications technologies (ICTs) developed in Europe. Its ultimate objective is to develop a technology brokerage facility through which EU companies and research institutions can find business partners in southern Mediterranean countries.
