The European information society conference (EISCO 2003) will take place from 19 to 21 November in Aalborg, Denmark.
The theme of this year's conference will be 'integrated public services in the networking society at local and regional level.'
During a series of plenary sessions, discussions will take place focusing on the key digital priorities of the eEurope 2005 action plan, and on the forms of partnerships and organisations needed at local and regional level to deploy the integrated services.
A number of workshops will also take place on key areas including e-government, e-transport, e-health, e-learning, e-business, e-transport and trust and security. Two projects will be analysed with a view to providing policy feedback to the administrative bodies and companies participating in the conference.
The conference is being organised by the county of North Jutland and the city of Aalborg, in association with the information society network of the council of European municipalities and regions (ELANET), and the European Commission.For further information, please visit the following web address:
