The first 1994 DELTA Concertation Meeting, DeCoMe 12, will take place in Brussels at the RTT Belgacom Business Centre on 10-11 February 1994. The theme of the meeting is "DELTA spreads its wings".

DeCoMe meetings are held approximately every two months and are attended by all DELTA project coordinators. Responsible persons from other Community programmes are invited to attend.

As well as the DELTA "Open line to projects", involving Project Officers, the agenda of the two-day February meeting comprises:

Thursday 10 February, morning:
- Open Line to Projects;
- Open and distance learning in the NORDIC countries, DELTA's new Concerted Action;
- Presentation of the new Task Force Human Resources programmes;
- Overview of the extensions to current DELTA projects (TRIBUNE).

Afternoon:
- Resource Centre acceptability to SMEs;
- Using translated and adapted training materials in a flexible and distance learning context;
- Economic analysis of pilot projects (BEACON);
- Audio conference for the EC/Canada forum (Closed Session).

Friday 11 February, morning:
- Open Line to Projects;
- Special Interest Group 1 (SIG 1), special session on Simulation Based Training;
- SIG 2, to be defined;
- SIG 3, economic analysis of pilot project working session (BEACON).

Afternoon:
- SIG 1, Simulation;
- SIG 2, to be defined;
- SIG 3, open discussion on the work of the SME working group.

DELTA (Flexible and Distance Learning) is Area 4 within the Community's specific programme of research and technological development in telematic systems in areas of general interest.
