Workshop on OpenECG project

A workshop on the OpenECG (electrocardiology) project, funded under the IST section of the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5), will take place in Berlin, Germany, from 1 to 3 April.
The mission of the OpenECG project is to promote the consistent use of format and communications standards for computerised ECGs, and to pave the way towards developing similar standards for stress ECG, Holter ECG, and real-time monitoring.
In addition to the results of the project, the event will also address medical technologies and healthcare (from basic technologies to application), manufacturers' views and users' experiences, telemedicine, harmonisation, interoperability, related research initiatives in Europe and trends and challenges.For further information, please consult the following web address:
