MAST advanced study courses 1994
- Instrumentation and data analysis in marine environmental sciences, GB-Warwick, 11-22 April 1994;
- Microbial ecology of coastal systems, DK-Helsingor, 1-16 June 1994;
- The general circulation of the oceans, I-Venezia, 13-24 June 1994;
- Advanced courses on paleoceanography, D-Bremen, 18 September-1 October 1994;
- Advanced courses in computational and modelling aspects of oceanography, GR-Athens, 3-21 October 1994;
- Probabilistic approach to the design of reliable coastal structures, I-Bologna, 29 November-10 December 1994.
The overall objective of these courses is to further advanced education in topics at the forefront of scientific and technological development in Europe, and to improve the communication between students and experienced scientists on a European level.
An announcement on the 1994 courses will be made public by the European Commission at all relevant institutions in the EU and EFTA countries. Interested students must send their applications directly to the organizing institution which is responsible for the selection of the course participants according to their qualifications.
While the majority of the key participants should come from EU and EFTA countries, students from other countries can be admitted. No national quota is applied.
