The first international conference on 'Ethics, science and moral philosophy of assisted human reproduction' will be held in London, UK, from 30 September to 1 October.

The aim of the conference is to further the public debate on the ethical, legal and social implications of new reproductive technologies.

Topics covered will include in-vitro fertilisation, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, gamete donation, surrogacy, postmenopausal and lesbian motherhood, posthumous reproduction, preconception gender selection, reproductive cloning, stem cells, and other derivatives of IVF.
