Biomedical engineering conference

A biomedical engineering conference will take place in Lund, Sweden on 26-27 April 1994. The conference is being organized by the Swedish National Board for industrial and technical development (NUTEK). The subjects for discussion will include the following:
- Biocompatability;
- Medical imaging and decision support systems;
- Less invasive medical engineering.
The conference will focus on two R&D programmes of the European Union in which Sweden participates: BIOMED (biomedicine and health programme) and AIM (telematics in healthcare). Both of these programmes have close Swedish participation and this conference will look at how this cooperation can be extended under the Fourth Framework Programme.
