The Institute's RTD effort in these projects received aid from the EC's ESPRIT programme, the specific research and technological development programme in the field of information technologies (1990-1994), and from the TELEMAN programme of RTD in the field of tele-operated robotics for hazardous and disordered nuclear environments.The Hannover Fair, a world showcase for industrial technology, presents state-of-the-art technologies in areas including assembly, handling and industrial robotics, materials handling and logistics, automation technology, tools, factory equipment, and surface treatment.
