A public conference on evaluating inputs for organic farming will take place on 13 October in Brussels, Belgium.
The conference is the culmination of an EU funded project that has spent three years compiling information on the usages and frameworks for fertilisers and soil conditioners; preparing the ground for establishing a more harmonised approach; making proposals for updating EU legislation; and proposing procedures to assist the Commission in evaluating and approving inputs.
