The European regional economic forum (EREF) 2005 will take place in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, from 27 to 28 October.
Organised by the Slovenian Business and Research Association, the 2005 forum has three key objectives:
- to discuss Lisbon strategy implementation at the regional level, focusing on specific, concrete measures and policies - particularly best practice developed in seven participating regions from six EU countries;
- to evaluate the experience of participant regions in terms of benefiting from EU funding facilities (structural and cohesion funds, common agriculture policy instruments and community programmes);
- to facilitate contacts among potential business partners for regional, cross-border and inter-regional cooperation, involving partners from Central and South-Eastern Europe.For further information, please visit:
