An international conference on advanced manufacturing will take place in Leuven, Belgium, from 16 to 17 November.
Organised by the Network of Excellence on intelligent manufacturing systems (IMS NoE), funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), the conference invites leaders from industry and academia to join together to analyse the state of the art in advanced manufacturing, to exchange views on emerging trends and needs, and to present ongoing research projects in this field.
The presentations will provide valuable information on some of the latest developments with respect to future research activities worldwide and in Europe - in particular those under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for research (FP7) and some Technology Platforms.
