A conference on security research, will take place in Vienna, Austria, on 20 and 21 February 2006.
Jointly organised by the Austrian EU Council Presidency and the European Commission, the aim of the conference is to discuss the possible shape of a new European security research agenda based on findings from the Commission's Preparatory Action for Security Research (2004-2006), its strategic planning activities and practical experience on the European level as well as that in the Member States.
European strengths and weaknesses with respect to civil security research will be evaluated and discussed together with policy makers, practitioners, and experts from industry and academia.For further information, please:
