A technology transfer day on high-temperature electronics will take place on 5 May 1994 in Berlin.

The event is being organized by VDI/VDE, the VALUE Relay Centre for northern Germany. The aim of the Berlin event is to present European Union research and development results in the area of high-temperature electronics to SMEs in the region.

The results presented at this event will have been selected from the ESPRIT programme and the presentation will cover the following areas:
- Heteroepitaxial deposition of diamond and silicone carbide films (Deutsch Aerospace);
- Electronic packaging concepts for high-temperature electronics (Compagnei Deutsch);
- High-temperature operation of SOI MOS (Catholic University of Louvain);
- Leakage currents of field-effect transistors operating at high ambient temperatures (University of Newcastle).
