THERMIE workshop on "Technologies for the rational use of energy in the tile and brick industries in the Maghreb"

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy (DG XVII) has organized, in the framework of the THERMIE programme, a workshop on "Technologies for the rational use of energy in the tile and brick industries in the Maghreb", to be held in Tunis on 19-20 May 1994.

The workshop will focus on the following (with particular reference to the Maghreb countries):
- Promotion of efficient energy technologies in brick and tile production systems;
- Optimal use of energy in the brick and tile industries;
- Efficient management structures and the transfer of know-how between professional and commercial organizations.
