Talking life sciences to both sexes, Brussels
The event aims to see how men and women interpret scientific information and perceive risk, identifying any gender differences that might exist. Activities will include investigations into whether the brains of men and women are different and whether girls and boys should be taught differently at school.
The event will present the latest data on the subject, while invited experts will talk about the latest research. The day will be split into two parts: the first to present the latest data and research, and the second to examine different ways of applying this knowledge to address the differences between men and women. For further information, please consult the following web address ftp://ftp.cordis.lu/pub/food/docs/workshop_communication.pdf(opens in new window)
