ENCAP and CASTOR will hold a training seminar and workshop in Billund, Denmark, on 16 March. Participants will discuss issues related to pre- and post- combustion CO2 capture and CO2 storage.

ENCAP (Enhanced Capture of CO2), is an Integrated Project (IP), exploring ways in which CO2, the most common greenhouse gas, may be removed or captured pre-combustion in power generation. The consortium aims to have a working demonstration plant up and running by 2008-2010 and commercial plants working by 2015-2020.

CASTOR (CO2 from Capture to Storage) is an IP with 30 partners from 11 EU countries, and part-funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The project aims to drive down costs of capture and storage by half.For further information, please visit:
