Academic Publishing in Europe (APE 2006), under the auspices of the European Commission, has organised a conference investigating 'The Role of Information in Science and Society', to take place in Berlin, Germany, on 4 and 5April.
The conference is designed to provide a forum for delegates to explore fresh approaches in information and value chains, including issues surrounding language, culture, education, finance, technology, politics and standardisation.
The conference is aimed at those involved in information roles dealing with science in society. The organisers hope that the conference will give delegates a better understanding of the changes in media.
