GlaxoSmithKline will host a science seminar on 27 March to discuss 'New technologies and biomedical research: can Europe attract investment and realise benefits for patients?'
The seminar will explore how to develop an environment in Europe which encourages collaborative research. Chairman of the European Parliament's Industry Committee, Giles Chichester MEP, will chair the meeting, and speakers will include European Commissioner for Research, Janez Potocnik, Chairman of research and development at GlaxoSmithKline, Tachi Yamada, and Mark Walport Director of the Wellcome Trust.For further information, and to register, please
