The JDRF Center for Beta Cell Therapy in Diabetes (BetaCellTherapy) has organised a training course entitled 'Cell programming to Beta cells', to be held in Strasbourg from 18 to 20 April.

The course provides an overview of beta cell development mechanisms as well as a critical analysis of the current issues in the programming of beta cells from embryonic stem cells for cell therapy of diabetes.

This course is aimed at young investigators and PhD students considering devoting their research to beta cell therapies for diabetes. Differences between beta cells and embryonic stem cells will be a focus for the training.For further information, please visit:
