European IT Conference - EITC '94

The European Information Technology Conference (EITC '94) will take place on 6-8 June 1994 at the Palais des Congres in Brussels. This major conference and exhibition is the successor to the annual ESPRIT Conference. The EITC '94 Exhibition on European Information Technology is held in parallel with the three-day conference.
Both events are expected to stimulate interest among researchers and scientists, as well as public- and private-sector industries, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), plus the larger IT-based companies and multinationals.
The conference will open with an examination, by researchers, industrialists and the Commission, of the technologies for information infrastructures which form the core of IT R&D in the Fourth Framework programme. It will also bring together major business and public figures to identify the new markets and new modes of operation that the information infrastructures will bring. The conference will culminate in the IT Forum, at which a panel of leading industrial and political figures will address how Europe's enterprises can implement and exploit the transition to an information infrastructure-based society and industry.
