Knowledge assessment methodologies, Turkey

An autumn school on knowledge assessment methodologies will take place from 25 to 29 September in Istanbul, Turkey.
The school, organised by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), will present state-of-the-art tools and methods for policy knowledge in extended decision-making processes. Lectures by an international group of experts will cover methodologies for engaging a wider range of social actors and dealing explicitly with complexity, uncertainty, risk, science communication and public participation.
There will be a particular focus on methodological approaches that combine both widening the range of actors involved in decision-making, and ensuring transparency and openness with regard to the knowledge that is fed into the policy-making cycle.For further information, please visit:
