A conference on knowledge and technology transfer, network management, balancing knowledge and the use of patents will take place in Speyer, Germany, from 18 to 20 October.
Sessions will address subjects such as legal and financial conditions for the use of patents in universities; technology licensing offices; patents and non-university research; the challenges for technology transfer in the life sciences; cooperation between universities; research institutes and companies; and technology transfer from basic research.
