Conference on Legal Aspects of Multimedia and Geographic Information Systems

The European Commission is organizing a Conference on Legal Aspects of Multimedia and Geographic Information Systems (GISs) in Lisbon on 27-28 October 1994.

The following activities will take place:

- Demonstrations of Community-funded multimedia and GIS projects;
- Presentation of studies commissioned by DG XIII on the law relating to copyright and electronic delivery in Europe, and future perspectives;
- Round table of operators in the multimedia industry;
- Discussion session on the legal issues of multimedia and GIS;
- Panel session on "Citizens' rights in a multimedia society".
