Conference on the link between Community education programmes and research and development

A conference entitled "The link between Community education/training programmes and research and development" will take place in Lyon on 1 July 1994. The event is being organized by the COMETT programme University-Enterprise Training Partnership "Formations Lyonnaises" (UETP FLy).
The programme will include a presentation on the LEONARDO DA VINCI and SOCRATES programmes by Mr. M. Kirchberger, a Member of the Cabinet of Commissioner Ruberti, as well as a presentation on the Fourth Framework Programme by Mr. M. Corpakis of DG XII of the Commission. The conference is intended to:
- Present the role of the COMETT UETP network as a link between training and research, using examples from companies and universities in the COMETT projects;
- Provide information on Community education, training and research programmes;
- Identify possible sources of synergy between new programmes.
The conference is being organized with the support of the European Commission and the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Lyon.
