The EU funded CENTRAL LOCO project will hold a workshop on the problems and solutions affecting the logistics of automatic identification in Budapest, Hungary, on 22 February.

The CENTRAL LOCO project seeks to promote the dissemination and exploitation of results generated by projects under the EU's Fifth and Sixth Framework Programmes (FP5 and FP6) in Central Europe's logistics and transport sector.

The focus of the event will be new solutions in automatic identification, as well as the new global standards system that combines radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, existing communications network infrastructure and the electronic product code.For further information, please visit:
